Most modem issues (problems dialing in or staying online) are related to one of three possible issue:

2. Driver/modem design issues
3. Operating system issues.

Our modem database lists modem vendors by alphabetical order. Each entry contains links to the manufacturers' or vendors' web site (if they have one), initializations strings to optimize performance, and additional information that you may find handy when dealing with specific hardware.
